Wholesale Sterling Silver Anklets: Buying Guide
Which anklet styles to stock, how weight and plating affect price, when to order for summer and how to build a first order of wholesale sterling silver anklets.
Why anklets are a seasonal, low-risk add-on
Anklets are one of the simplest categories to add to a jewelry range. They are light, they are priced below most bracelets and they sell hardest when the weather turns warm. Customers buy them for holidays, beach trips and summer outfits, and they often take one as a small gift. The catch is timing: demand rises in spring and falls in autumn, so when you order matters as much as what you order.
This guide is for boutique and online shop owners who want to stock wholesale sterling silver anklets. It covers styles, weight and price, plating, how to time an order and a sample first order. Everything is based on how we make and sell at Ruvolla, a 925 sterling silver supplier with its own workshop in Fatih, Istanbul. Every piece is stamped 925.
Anklet styles to stock
Our wholesale sterling silver anklets range has 24 designs. They fall into a few families, and a small range can cover most of them.
Plain chain anklets
The base of any anklet range. Our chain styles include ball chain, gourmet chain and paperclip chain, in light, plain designs. They are easy to photograph, easy to layer and low-risk at the till. A ball chain anklet is among the lightest in the range, at around 1.65 grams.
Charm and dangle anklets
Chain anklets with small charms: pavé hearts, pavé and rainbow stars, a padlock, a circle charm, a fish. These add a little personality without a big jump in price. A multi-star shaker anklet is the heavier statement piece in this family, at about 10.5 grams.
Stone anklets
Single-stone designs in amethyst, emerald, ruby and sapphire colours, plus mixed-stone and zircon designs, including star and heart-and-cross styles. They are the colourful end of the range. Our cubic zirconia jewelry guide explains how to describe stone-set pieces honestly.
Beaded and evil eye anklets
Beaded anklets include an evil eye design and a cross charm design. The evil eye is one of the steadiest motifs in our catalogue, and a beaded evil eye anklet is a natural summer line. See our evil eye jewelry collection and our evil eye wholesale guide.
Letter and message anklets
We have an "I LOVE U" letter design, at about 2.4 grams. Wording pieces suit gift displays.
Weight and price
Silver is priced by weight, and anklets are among our lightest pieces. Across the 24 designs, weight runs from about 1.65 to 10.5 grams, with an average of around 4.4 grams. Prices start at about $9 per piece for the lightest ball chain and run to about $54 for the heaviest shaker anklet. Most designs fall between about $15 and $30, depending on the model and plating. Exact prices are shown to approved trade accounts.
Use weight to place each design in your range:
- Light chains (under 4 grams) for entry prices and impulse buys near the till.
- Mid-weight charm and stone anklets (about 4 to 6 grams) as the core of the range.
- Heavy statement anklets (9 grams and above) for display impact.
Choosing plating and micron
All our anklets start as 925 sterling silver. Plating is added in our own workshop: 14K gold, rhodium or rose gold, with gold plating available in thicknesses from 0.10 to 4 micron. Plating is priced per gram, and anklets are light, so plating adds relatively little to the cost of a plain chain.
Anklets have a particular wear pattern. They sit against shoes, socks, sand, sunscreen and water, and they move with every step. For daily wear we recommend 1.00 micron or above for gold and rose gold. Thinner plating from 0.10 to 0.25 micron suits a lower price point or an occasional piece, as long as you tell customers what to expect. Rhodium gives a bright white finish and looks well on stone anklets. Our gold plating micron guide explains each thickness. Leaving a design unplated is also an option.
Length and fit
Length is the main fit question with anklets. Check the length on each product page, and show it in your own listings in both centimeters and inches. Several of our designs have an adjustable extender chain, which lets one anklet suit a range of ankle sizes and cuts down on size questions. Put adjustable designs at the front of your range.
When to order
Anklets sell on the calendar. In most markets, demand starts in spring and peaks around summer holidays. Because every order is made to order and ships within about a week of payment, plus 3 to 7 business days of transit to Europe, order a few weeks before your selling season starts, not during it.
A simple plan for a first season:
- Order a small, focused range early in spring.
- Watch which motifs and weights move in the first weeks.
- Reorder the winners rather than buying a large range up front.
A sample first order
Our minimum is 5 pieces per design, and you can mix designs and plating finishes freely. A minimum order value is shown in your cart as you build the order. One way to split 8 designs:
- 2 plain chain anklets (ball chain or gourmet chain), your base
- 2 charm or dangle anklets (a star and a heart)
- 2 stone anklets, for colour
- 1 evil eye beaded anklet, a steady motif
- 1 statement anklet for display
That is 40 anklets. Take some designs in 14K gold at 1.00 micron or above, some in rhodium and one or two in rose gold. See our first wholesale silver order guide for more on planning an order.
Display and pairing
Anklets are small and easy to lose in a display. Hang them on a bar or stand so the chain falls straight, and group by style. A matching anklet and bracelet pair is an easy upsell, and our bracelets include many chain and charm styles that echo the anklet designs. Show anklets on a foot or ankle model when you can, because a flat chain on a white background does not show how it sits.
How to start
If you are new to wholesale, read our wholesale guide for the full order process. You can request a sample: it is made in a different metal and shows design, size and finish, not the silver itself, and you pay the shipping. Prices are visible to approved trade accounts, so the first step is to apply for a trade account. You can also browse the full anklets collection before you apply.
Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum order for wholesale sterling silver anklets?
The minimum is 5 pieces per design, and you can mix designs and plating finishes in one order. A minimum order value is shown in your cart.
How many anklet designs do you have?
Our anklets collection has 24 designs, including plain chain, charm and dangle, stone, beaded evil eye and letter styles. Every piece is stamped 925.
Which anklets are easiest for a new shop to sell?

What plating thickness do you recommend for anklets?
For anklets worn daily, we recommend 1.00 micron or above for gold and rose gold. They meet shoes, sand and water, so a thicker layer suits them better. Thinner plating from 0.10 micron is available for lighter-wear pieces.
