Ruvolla makes custom 925 sterling silver jewelry for brands and retailers from our own workshop in Cemberlitas, Fatih, Istanbul, close to the Grand Bazaar. Custom manufacturing starts at 20 pieces per design, with no modelling or mould fee on production orders, so your budget goes into the pieces rather than the tooling. You send 3D files or sketches, and we deliver finished pieces, cast, polished, plated, stone-set and quality-checked, with your logo stamped if you like.

What we need from you

You can send us either of these:

1. 3D files (STL or CAD). If your design is already modelled, we print the wax model directly from the file.
2. Sketches with dimensions. If you don't have a 3D file, we model the piece from your drawings. Include sizes in millimetres, the stones you have in mind and the finish you want.

With the files, tell us the metal and plating, the stones, roughly how many pieces you'd like per design, and your deadline and country. Our checklist of what to send a jewelry manufacturer for a quote includes a short enquiry you can copy.

How custom production works

1. Modelling. Your design is prepared as a 3D model, from your file or from your sketches.
2. Wax printing. The model is printed as a wax pattern.
3. Casting. The wax is cast in 925 sterling silver.
4. Finishing. Each piece is cleaned and polished.
5. Stone setting. Cubic zirconia or other stones are set by our stone-setting team. Moissanite can also be set on request.
6. Plating. Silver (rhodium), yellow gold or rose gold plating is applied in-house, with gold available from 0.10 up to 4 micron. Standard gold plating comes in a 14K or 18K gold colour tone, as you prefer.
7. Quality check. Every piece is checked before it is packed.

We can share videos of each stage, from wax print to casting, so you can see your pieces being made.

Model approval first, then production

Before anything is cast, we send you the 3D model of each design for approval. If you'd like to hold a piece before the full run, we can make a paid sample in 925 sterling silver with the plating you choose, delivered in about a week. Modelling and mould are then charged once, USD 70 to 120 depending on the piece, and that amount stays as a balance against your production order. Once you approve, production follows the same model. The minimum production run is 20 pieces per design.

New to working with us?

We can show you the casting, setting and plating stages on a video call or by video, and you can start with a small first order. If you want to check the silver, we can have a test report issued for a piece you choose from your order.

Your designs stay yours

The designs you send us remain your property. The CAD files and physical moulds we make for you belong to you, and we hand them over if you ask. They are used only for your orders, and they are never added to our catalogue or offered to other buyers. If you want this in writing, send us your NDA and we will review and sign it before you share your designs. You can also have your logo stamped on each piece at no extra charge.

Materials and finishes

If you want gold vermeil, tell us the karat and micron you need. We plate up to 4 micron, so a 2.5 or 3 micron specification fits, and we'll confirm the karat and micron with you before production.

How pricing works

Custom pieces are priced on three things: the weight of each piece, the daily silver price in Istanbul and the work involved (modelling, setting, plating). That is why we can't give a fixed price list for custom work. Send your sketches or files with rough quantities, and we'll come back with a per-piece price.

Timing

Once the model is approved and the order is paid, production usually takes about a week. Larger runs or complex stone setting can take longer, and we'll tell you the timing before you confirm. We ship by express courier to trade buyers in most countries (not to Israel at present).

Frequently asked questions

Is there a minimum order for custom jewelry?

Yes. The minimum for custom designs is 20 pieces per design. On production orders of that size there is no modelling or mould fee, so the minimum goes into finished pieces rather than tooling.

How long does a sample take?

A sample is delivered in about a week.

Do you charge for samples or moulds?

Can you make jewelry from a sketch?

Yes. If you don't have a 3D file, we model your design from sketches with dimensions. Clear measurements and a note on stones and finish help us get it right the first time.

Do you work from STL files?

Yes. We print wax models directly from STL or other CAD files and cast them in 925 sterling silver.

Can you put my logo on the jewelry?

Yes. On custom orders we stamp your logo on each piece alongside the 925 stamp, free of charge. See private label jewelry.

Do you make wedding bands in bulk?

Yes. We make wedding bands in 925 sterling silver in bulk as a custom order. Send us the widths, ring sizes, finish and quantity, and we will confirm the minimum and price in your quote. Use the custom quote form.

Do you make personalised name jewelry?

Yes. We make personalised name jewelry in 925 sterling silver, such as name necklaces. Send us the lettering style or a sample, the names and the quantities. We confirm the minimum and price in your quote, because they depend on how many different names you need.

Will you sell my designs to other buyers?

No. Your designs and the moulds we make for them are used only for your orders and are never added to our catalogue.

Do you deliver finished pieces or raw castings?

Finished pieces as standard: polished, plated, stone-set and quality-checked. If you have your own finishing team, we can also supply raw castings.

Can you help with packaging?

We don't make packaging ourselves, but we work with partner companies that make plain and branded boxes, and we can get prices for you.
