Ruvolla is a 925 sterling silver jewelry manufacturer based in Istanbul, Turkey, working out of Fatih — the historic district where Istanbul's jewellery trade has been centred for centuries. We manufacture wholesale only, supplying boutiques, independent jewelers, retail stores, and online sellers from a catalogue of roughly 2,400 designs across bracelets, earrings, necklaces, rings, charms, anklets, bangles, chains, and jewelry sets. How our jewelry is made

Every design in the catalogue goes through the same core manufacturing stages before it ships as a finished, plated piece. Every stage below happens in our own workshop, plating included.

1. Design and mould

Each design starts as a wax model, carved by our wax model makers, or a CAD file, which is used to produce a mould. For an existing catalogue design, the mould already exists; for a variation in size or stone layout, the mould is adjusted before casting.

2. Casting

925 sterling silver is melted and cast into the mould, producing the raw piece — often several pieces per casting tree, depending on size. At this stage the metal is still rough and needs the excess sprue and flash removed.

3. Cleaning and assembly

The cast piece is cleaned of casting residue, and any components — jump rings, clasps, chains, bails — are assembled onto the main piece.

4. Stone setting

Where a design calls for cubic zirconia or other stones, they are set by hand using prong, pavé, or bezel settings depending on the design. This step happens before plating so the plating covers the setting metal evenly.

5. Polishing

The piece is polished to remove tool marks and bring up the surface finish the plating will sit on. A clean, even polish underneath is part of what makes a plated finish look consistent.

6. Plating

7. Quality check

Finished pieces are checked before packing — weight against the listed average for that SKU, plating colour consistency, that stones and clasps are secure, and that the piece carries its 925 stamp.

8. Packing

Pieces are packed individually and protected for transit before the order is consolidated and handed to the courier.

The people who make your order

Everything below happens in our own workshop in Fatih, plating included. The work is split between specialists, each responsible for one part of the piece:

• Wax model makers carve and refine the wax models every casting starts from.
• Our caster melts and casts the 925 silver.
• A master stone setter and a stone-setting team set cubic zirconia and other stones by hand.
• Our production master oversees each order from casting through assembly, polishing and finishing.
• In-house plating applies 14K gold, rhodium or rose gold at the micron you choose, under our own roof.
• Quality control checks weight, stones, plating colour and the 925 stamp before anything is packed.
• A sales consultant looks after your account, quotes and order questions directly, with no sourcing office in between.

Plating to your specification

All plating is carried out in-house, in the same workshop that casts and sets the piece. Plating is one of the few production steps a wholesale buyer should ask about directly, because it drives both the look and the resale price of a piece. We offer:

• 14K gold plating — the standard warm gold finish for retail sterling silver jewelry.
• Rhodium plating — a bright white finish, also used over sterling silver to reduce tarnish and give a platinum-like look.
• Rose gold plating — a pink-toned gold finish, popular alongside yellow gold in current bracelet and necklace ranges.

Standard plating is included in the catalogue price, and gold can also be ordered at a stated thickness from 0.10 up to 4 micron, selected per order rather than fixed per design. A thinner micron suits a lower retail price point; a thicker micron holds its colour longer on pieces that see more friction, like rings and bracelets. Made to order: why it works for retailers

We don't hold finished stock in a single plating and hope it matches what a buyer wants. Instead, each order is manufactured after it's placed, in the plating and micron the buyer chooses, with a minimum order quantity of 5 pieces per style. Whatever the quantity, every order ships within about a week of payment confirmation, with tracking shared by then.

For a retailer, this has a practical upside: you're not buying into a plating you can't sell. A boutique that sells mostly rhodium/white pieces doesn't end up with yellow-gold stock it has to discount, and a store testing rose gold for the first time can put it on a handful of styles rather than committing across a full range. It also means two buyers ordering the same SKU can walk away with different finished products — one in rhodium at 0.20 micron for a fast-turning fashion line, another in 14K gold at 1.00 micron for a piece meant to hold its colour longer.

What we check before a piece leaves our workshop

Before an order is packed, we check:

• Weight against the average weight listed for that SKU, since weight is the basis for pricing on a per-gram-plus-labour model.
• Stone setting — that cubic zirconia or other stones are securely set with no visible adhesive overflow.
• Plating colour consistency — that pieces from the same order match in tone, since a batch can include multiple casting runs.
• Polish and surface finish — no visible casting marks or scratches under normal light.
• 925 stamp — every piece is stamped 925.
• Packing — each piece packed individually and cushioned for transit before the order ships.

4. Submit your order request — this does not take payment.
5. You'll receive a proforma invoice with the order confirmed, along with lead time and payment terms.
6. Once payment is confirmed, production starts; the order ships EXW Istanbul or DAP by DHL Express, UPS, FedEx, TNT or Aramex.

What's the minimum order to open a trade account?

There's no separate minimum to open an account — approval is based on being a registered business buying for resale. Once you're placing orders, the minimum is 5 pieces per style, and the cart shows the minimum order value.

Can I mix plating types and micron thicknesses in one order?

Yes. Plating and micron are selected per style within an order, so you can put rhodium on some SKUs and 14K gold on others in the same order.

Can you manufacture my own designs?

Yes. Custom manufacturing starts at 20 pieces per design, with no modelling or mould fee on production orders. If you want a physical sample first, modelling and mould are charged once, USD 70 to 120 depending on the piece, and the amount stays as a balance against your production order. We work from 3D files (STL/CAD) or from sketches with dimensions, and pieces come to you finished: cast in 925 sterling silver, polished, plated, stones set and quality-checked, with your logo stamped if you like. No. Sales are wholesale only, to boutiques, jewelers, retail stores, distributors, and online sellers with a registered business. Apply through trade application.

How long does an order take from confirmation to shipping?

Every order is made to order and ships within about a week of payment confirmation, whatever the quantity; we share the tracking details by then. Transit after production typically takes 3–7 business days to Europe by DHL Express, UPS, FedEx, TNT or Aramex.
